A Coursewriter II Function (FCALC) for the Manipulation of Numerical and Algebraic Expressions.

Abstract

The Coursewriter 2 Function FCALC was designed for use on the IBM 1500 Instructional System. This function has three major applications: Comparison of a numeric expression in buffer 5 with a numeric expression in buffer 0; Comparison of an algebraic expression in buffer 5 with an algebraic expression in buffer 0; Evaluation of a numeric expression in buffer 0 with return of a numeric value to buffer 0 in scientific notation, display cards. This report provides documentation of the Function FCALC. (Author)
