A Bibliographic Resource for Demographic, Economic, and Social Trends in the Western Pacific

Abstract

The report is in part an outgrowth of an earlier project. Further social science research was desired on a region of obviously great military significance--the continent of islands stretching for thousands of miles across the Western Pacific. This region is of considerable interest from a sociological and economic, as well as a military point of view. The bibliographical resource described in the present report is the result of that project.
