Sixty-Channel High-Frequency Cable Transmission System,

Abstract

The collection is devoted to the description of the equipment of 60-channel high-frequency transmission systems which have broad application in the Soviet communications network - the K-60P, K-60, V-60-E and V-60-S for large-capacity balanced cable and the K-60, for single-quad cable. The collection contains the basic design principles for these high-frequency transmission systems and a detailed description of the new Soviet K-60P transistorized equipment. The general block diagrams and structural design of the equipment, generating equipment, group converters, ARU, the line channel of the terminal and attended intermediate stations, and the NUP equipment for the K-60P are investigated. The description of other systems, including the V-60-E and V-60-S equipment delivered by the German Democratic Republic, is presented in abbreviated form. (Author)
