A Study of Shear Coefficient in Rolling,

Abstract

The article proposes several methods to determine the shear coefficient. In order to explain the physical essence of the shear coefficient, the conditions of mixed friction in rolling are examined. Using the shear coefficient as a friction characteristic in rolling is recommended over a friction coefficient, also different lubricants are considered. (Author)
