Cavitational Erosion in Hydraulic Turbines,

Abstract

The status of scientific research studies in the field of cavitational erosion is discussed, basic results of some studies are presented and evaluated from the viewpoint of applicability to hydraulic turbines. It is shown that the erosion process is significantly different for different forms of cavitation.
