Method of Determining the Working-Bit Times of Digital Computer Micro-Operations,

Abstract

The method proposed by the author allows determination of all admissible permutations of micro-operations in the working bit-time of a digital computer in cases where, under given limitations for completion of a micro-operation, more working bit-times have been selected than are indispensable. The algorithm developed in the paper is easily programmed into a digital computer.
