Self-Sealing Screw,

Abstract

The self-sealing screw is distinguished by the fact that in order to increase the hydraulic tightness of the joint and to simplify manufacture it has a ring-shaped recess on the threaded surface; this recess is filled with an elastic wear-resistant polymer and a thread with increased average diameter is created on the outer surface of the polymer.
