Special Features of Deformation and the Mechanical Properties of Nickel/Titanium Composites Reinforced with Tungsten Wire,

Abstract

The article presents results of research on deformation, hardening, and softening of model composites based on nickel and the titanium alloy VTZ-1, reinforced with tungsten wire. The temperature dependence of the mechanical properties was studied and the macromechanism of deformation and destruction of components was examined as a function of the volume fraction of the fiber.
