Progress in Electronic Miniaturization,

Abstract

A discussion is given of two problem areas of fundamental importance: the imperative need to move to increasingly shorter wavelengths, through the millimeter and submillimeter bands down to fractions of microns in the laser range, and, secondly, the miniaturization of electronic components, particularly as they relate to such applications as computer storage systems.
