A Syntactic Approach to the Recognition on Certain Dynamic Speech Sounds.

Abstract

Experiments were performed on patterns representing the phonemes known as liquids (/r/,/1/) and glides (/w/,/y/). At this point in the research it is clear that syntactic techniques can be used successfully for recognizing these phonemes. (Author)
