A Survey of Publications Dealing with Corrosion in Wire Rope,

Abstract

A research of the literature (both the journal literature and the report literature) was conducted to collect all work dealing with the corrosion and prevention of corrosion of wire rope. A discussion of the various types of corrosion, cathodic protection, coatings, and lubricants is given along with references for these topics. Forty-one references are included. (Author)
