Handbook on the Use of Radio-Measurement Instruments. Part I,

Abstract

Fundamental engineering characteristics most widely used in present-day radio-measuring devices are shown. Described are the principles of their operation, the order of preparing them for operation and the basic questions regarding their use. The first chapter deals with the general questions of measuring industry: verifying measurements, estimation of errors, mathematical treatment of the results, the rules of application and the preservation of measuring equipment. The remaining chapters begin with tables containing fundamental technical characteristics of the instruments of the given group. The characteristics of only the most widely used radio-measuring instruments and the elements of radio-measuring arrangements, their block-diagrams, electrical circuits and the circuits explaining the operation of certain devices are considered comprehensively.
