Automatic Start-Up and Running of an ADL-Collins Helium Refrigerator.

Abstract

The report describes modifications to an ADL-Collins helium gas refrigerator system which allow automatic start-up at inconvenient hours and unattended running through periods of severe heat load changes. The automatic operation is discussed from the view point of convenience and manpower saving when employed in the cooling of an experimental facility installed in a nuclear reactor. (Author)
