Implementation Plan for the Naval Air Industrial Management Information System.

Abstract

The report proposes a generalized procedure to guide the development of a large evolving, computer-based, management information system for the Naval Aviation Program. Specific actions are recommended to make current management information systems more responsive to the needs of Naval Air Rework Facilities (NARFs) in the short term. Part 3 is concerned with longer range workload forecasts (periods more than a month in the future) at NARFs. Recommendations regarding on-going and future systems are included, as are hypotheses regarding the order of intrinsic errors. (Author)
