Evaluation of Polyurethane as a Cosmetic Glove Material.

Abstract

Polyurethane latex was evaluated for possible use as a cosmetic glove material. A two component latex system was used with a number of films and a cosmetic glove being fabricated and evaluated with varying amounts of the two components. The mechanical properties indicate that the material is sufficiently strong. However, there were other problems encountered in low temperature flexure and staining. (Author)
