Specification and Test Procedure for a High Performance Cinetheodolite

Abstract

The report specifies the performance of a new state-of-the-art high performance cinetheodolite capable of 2-arc-seconds dynamic pointing accuracy. The feasibility of manufacturing a cinetheodolite to this specification was established by means of static and dynamic testing of a breadboard instrument. The detailed procedure to test instrument performance and determine manufacturer compliance was established.
