Practical Methods in Numerical Weather Forecasting,

Abstract

The book is concerned with the fundamentals of the up-to-date theory of hydrodynamic weather forecasting. Particular regard is paid to non-geostrophic methods of forecasting which are used in practical forecasting service work. Numerical analysis of meteorological information and methods of physical statistics as used in weather forecasting are discussed. (Author)
