Variable Modular Elasticity Theory of an Anisotropic Body Subjected to a Plane Stressed State,

Abstract

The basic equations and relationships of the variable modular elasticity theory of an anisotropic body subjected to a plane stressed state were given in another article. In a certain sense this article is a supplement to that other article. Here the authors have found the dependences between the coefficients of elasticity for which this body is in fact elastic, i.e., the specific elementary energy of the internal forces is a total differential. The expression is given for the specific potential energy strain. In conclusion the authors also prove the validity of the Castigliano theorem for this anistropic variable modular material. (Author)
