State Standard on Digital Control Computers.
Abstract
The present standard applies to digital control computers which are part of an automated control system which include a device for communications with the system, and which are designated to automatically carry out certain of the system's functions: receipt of information from measuring devices and local systems for automation of control, and protection of interlocks, the condition of locking organs, and other sources of information; reprocessing of information according to a program determined by a given control algorithm in real time; and output of the results of the processing of information to an operator for the actuating devices above and below the automatic control system.
