Systems Study of Non-Linear Microwave Breakdown,

Abstract

The report presents a systems study of the transmission of a high-power pulse through air, including the non-linear interaction of the pulse with the gas. Results are presented for the time evolution of the transmitted power, electron density distribution and electronic field distribution when a plane wave is incident upon a gaseous layer. (Author)
