Theoretical Research on Surface Physics and Chemistry.
Abstract
The research has dealt most directly with problems of surface physics and chemistry relating to the adsorption of polar or ionic adsorbates (classical image force laws), the dielectric response of a semi-infinite degenerate electron gas, and the energy distribution in field emission in the presence of adsorbates. Details of the work are given in published journal articles cited in the report. (Author)
