Specific Permeability of Epoxy Resin Systems

Abstract

Several types of coating and filler materials were evaluated for their effectiveness in reducing moisture permeability of epoxy resins. Only the metallic coatings gave significant reductions. The specific permeability of a number of epoxy resin systems is given at room temperature and 140 deg F. Data is presented on the effects of post cure, curing agent concentration, and specimen thickness on specific permeability.
