Large Time-Bandwidth Product Microwave Delay Line.

Abstract

The objective of the program is to develop a large time-bandwidth product tapped delay line employing acoustic surface waves at microwave frequencies. The essential components of this device include tuned interdigital transducers, surface wave amplifiers and air gap couplers all operating at a center frequency of 1.0 GHz. The report describes achievements in each development area and includes measured data for a five tap 30 microsec long surface wave delay line. (Author)
