Abstract
A report is provided on the state of the Melbourne betatron and ancillary equipment used on this effort. Progress is reported on: Precision measurements of (gamma,n) cross sections; Measurements of (gamma,np) cross sections; The electric quadrupole giant resonance; Photoproton energy and angular distributions; Electron beam experiments; Photoneutron spectra from light nuclei. Plans for future work in these areas are stated. Details of cost-sharing in the work by the University of Melbourne are specified. (Author)
