A Method of Finding the Real Roots of a Single-Valued Continuous Function.

Abstract

A method is presented for finding the real roots of a single-valued continuous function. The roots are found in consecutive order over a given interval by a quadratic or cubic approximation of contiguous segments to the function. (Author)
