A Computer Simulation Aided Method for Predicting Expenditures of a Short Range, Semi-Active Homing Missile System.
Abstract
The thesis presents a computer simulation aided method for predicting expenditures of a short range, semi-active homing missile system engaged in an amphibious assault. The methodology used considers varying threat size, enemy strategy, and expected missile kill probabilities. Only a single-shot firing doctrine is considered. The results obtained, displayed for varying missile kill probabilities, provide the user with expenditure information on which to base missile procurement policy. (Author)
