Some Dimensions of International Conflict Settlement Procedures and Outcomes.
Abstract
Empirical research on international conflict has been characterized by three major approaches: psychological, societal, and systemic. This study was conducted as a preliminary step to exploring certain aspects of societal and systemic theories of conflict. Holsti's variables, along with seven others were factor analyzed to investigate the possibilities of a larger study concerned with international conflict resolution. (Author)
