Dimensionality of Nations Project.
Abstract
Investigation was made of conflict processes and their relationship to shifts in attribute differences. This work produced a theory which, while different from the field theory, was quite complimentary as an analytic means of looking at the dynamic aspects of behavior. The Asian subsystem was analyzed according to behavioral interaction patterns, which were found by application of factor analysis to a dyadic behavior matrix. Japan's role in Asia was interpreted by her position on hierarchical clustering techniques. A missing data estimation computer program was put to use.
