Methods of Simulating Dimensionless Wear of Machine Parts Subject to Friction,

Abstract

The article outlines a procedure for calculating the wear of experimental friction couplings; the method is based on certain positions of technical cybernetics and 'black-box' strategy. The indicated procedure makes it possible to predict wear in the absence of information about physical and chemical processes in the contact zone. (Author)
