The Problem of Frequency Modulation of the Emission of Solid-State Lasers and the Experimental Realization of the Frequency Scanning of Ruby and Neodymium Lasers during the Lasing Process,

Abstract

A discussion is given of experimentally verified methods of controlling the frequency of solid-state lasers during their operation, with particular reference to the results obtained by Kravchenko, Soskin, and Tarabrov (1967). The characteristics of the emission of such lasers are examined, and several useful applications of these lasers are noted. (Author)
