A Parallel Type Recognition Machine,

Abstract

A recognition machine consists of a receiving device, an operating device, and a device for making decisions. A signal in the form of the elements of an image reflected from a light flow makes a vector of the output signal of the receiving device and enters the operating device, which determines the degree of similarity of an object relative to each of a pattern of classes. The final decision is made by the decision-making device. (Author)
