Device for Measuring Sliding Friction Stress in Organic Materials,

Abstract

Devices for measuring sliding friction stress in organic materials, fish, for example, are known. The proposed device makes it possible to prevent overheating of the test specimen during measuring and to thus increase measuring accuracy of the studied characteristics. For this purpose it is equipped with a cooling system, consisting of a spray nozzle and housing, which serves as the coolant tank. (Author)
