Method of Obtaining Polyester Containing Fluorine,

Abstract

Polyesters on a base of aliphatic fluorine-containing diols and aliphatic petrolized dicarboxylic acids are of practical value in obtaining oil and gasoline-resistant rubbers. In order to improve the heat stability of the fluorinated polyesters, a method is proposed in which they are obtained on a base of fluorinated hexanediol-1,6 and fluorinated bischloroformates, for example, 2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5-octafluorohexamethylene-1,6-bis-(chloroformate).
