Wear Resistance of Reinforced Sliding Bearings Made of Epoxy Compositions,

Abstract

Results are given of an investigation of the wear resistance of reinforced sleeve bearings made of epoxy compositions in the absence of lubrication, as well as with lubrication by mineral oil. By means of tests made on stands and in production, it is established that reinforced bearings produced by the winding method are distinguished by high wear resistance and efficiency in comparison to bearings made of bronze, capron and polyamide resin 68.
