Elastic Element for Compensating Heat Deformation in Bearing Support Units,

Abstract

The elastic element for compensation of heat deformation of shaft support units consists of a cylinder set in the sleeve and containing a spring. The element is distinguished by the fact that, in order to compensate for heat deformation of support parts, at the end of the cylinder is a stub with a membrane which holds the antifriction bearing, located on the center shaft. Here the external diameter of the membrane is less than the external diameter of cylinder. (Author)
