Elastic Bearing Mounting,

Abstract

The elastic mounting, consists of a housing which contains a bearing and an elastic bush consisting of three rings - an outer, an elastic intermediate, and an inner ring - set within one another. The mounting is distinguished by the fact that, in order to eliminate the influence of radial shifts in the shaft on gaps in the seals and to reduce the load on the bearing and the housing of the mounting, the elastic bush is located between the shaft and the inner race of the bearing, while the labyrinth seals are located on the outer ring of the elastic bush; and the inner ring of the elastic bush is united with the shaft.
