The Connection of Ion Current on a Spherical Probe and the Concentration of Charged Particles in a Plasma,
Abstract
A numerical coefficient was experimentally determined for an expression which relates ion current through a negative spherical probe with plasma density. The measurements were conducted in He and Hg vapors. The plasma density was given for He. The values obtained for the numerical coefficient are given. (Author)
