Classification Management. Journal. Volume 1, Number 1, Spring 1965

Abstract

In its broad sense classification management is defined as encompassing the systems for identifying and managing information that requires protection in the national interest. It includes determination of levels of defense classification and identification as restricted data or formerly restricted data. Techniques and systems for application of access, warning, and control markings are an integral part of the process. A most important aspect is the control of classified inventories through various management and statistical techniques.
