Common Poisonous Plants of the Southeastern United States,

Abstract

The bulletin describes some of the more abundant or conspicuous plants in the southeastern United States which may be dangerous if touched or eaten. Some 50 poisonous plants are included, based in part on information solicited from U.S. Air Force medical facilities in this region. Many of these are cultivated plants used for home decoration or landscaping; others may be found growing wild in woods, swamps or fields nearby. (Author)
