Survival Geography ONC G-4 (SE1/4).

Abstract

The study, encompassing a portion of the Middle East, is designed to provide airmen with basic data bearing on emergency survival. The physical and cultural features of a specific area are described and evaluated in terms of avorable and unfavorable survival conditions and in terms of obstacles that would be of concern to downed crewmen forced to live on their own under emergency conditions. Information includes terrain, climate, drainage, vegetation, agriculture, subsistence, shelter and health hazards. (Author)
