Test Response Patterning

Abstract

One of the more promising trends in current psychometric research is the increasing concern with methods of evaluating patterns of test scores and test responses. The purpose of the present paper is to review recent theoretical and technical developments in pattern analysis with particular emphasis on its most recent application: the study of individual test-item responses.
