Strength Variations in Fatigue Tests,
Abstract
The report analyzes the causes of the dispersion of the lifetime of machine parts under conditions of homogeneous cyclic loading. It is shown that under these conditions the lifetime dispersion is determined by the dispersion of the fatigue limit values for the set of parts considered. The possibility of using three parameter and normal lifetime functions is confirmed experimentally. (Author)
