Fatigue Limit of Alloy EI437B during Programmed Loading and Elevated Temperature,

Abstract

Data of fatigue tests conducted on the alloy EI437B under planar bending on an electrodynamic resonance device with programmed loading at 700 and 800 degrees are presented. The results of experiments are statistically processed. The effect of load type on the total of relative lives is clarified. A formula is proposed for the estimate of the average life under programmed testing.
