Lubricant-Coolant Liquid for the Cold Rolling of the Aluminum and Its Alloys,

Abstract

The lubricant-coolant liquid for the cold rolling of aluminum and its alloys, having mixture base of alkyl complex esters of high-molecular acids, a complex ester of the xylite anhydride of the fatty acid containing not less than six atoms of carbon, an aluminum soap, mineral oil, and water is distinguished by the fact that to improve the detergent and anticorrosive properties of the liquid, a polyoxyethelene derivative of the amide of synthetic fatty acids is added to its composition; and that its composition contains 3-6 percent wt. percentage of the mixture of alkyl complex esters of the high-molecular acids, 1-3 wt. percentage of the complex ester of the xylite anhydride of fatty acid containing not less than six atoms of carbon, 0.3-1 wt. percentage of aluminum soap, 10-60 wt. percentage of mineral oil, 0.5-1.5 wt. percentage of polyoxyethylene derivative of amide of the synthetic fatty acids, and water to make 100 percent.
