Theory of Compacting of Metal Powders,

Abstract

The book presents the results of theoretical and experimental studies of the deformation mechanism of compacting powdered bodies, the pressure values of the powerful contact interaction of particles in the compacting process, the distribution of pressure and density in compacts with unilateral and bilateral methods of compacting, the compacting pressure values for metal powders and their mixtures for ideal and real processes, and the elastic properties of compacts. The results of investigating the process of compacting metal powders at high loading rates are also given.
