Fundamentals of Radar,
Abstract
The book discusses the fundamental principles of radar. Examined are pulse, frequency and phase methods of measuring range to objects and methods of determining the azimuth and elevation of objects. Visual methods of determining coordinates and the automatic tracking of objects are examined. Errors in measuring coordinates by radar methods and factors determining the range of radar sets are analyzed. A discussion is given of the jamming of radar and methods to counteract it, the application of radar reconnaissance, the relaying of radar data and the application of radar beacons and systems for identifying equipment of objects. Some attention is given to the selection of moving objects. The studying radar and for a wide range of electronic specialists. (Author)
