The Problem of Determining the Contamination of Additives and of Oils with Additives,

Abstract

The work shows that by using filters produced according to GOST 8985-59, it is difficult to obtain stable reproducible data on the purity of oils and additives. Contamination of the same samples, depending on when the filters were issued, fluctuates in a wide range. Therefore, before determining the possibility of preparing filters of appropriate quality for a comparative evaluation of the product purity, it is recommended that, along with mortising, filters issued on the same date be used.
