Technological Methods for Ensuring High Structural Strength in Welded Containers Made of High-Strength Thin-Sheet Steels,
Abstract
Using SP-43 steel as an example, the efficiency was shown of weld joints under two-directional extension in relation to welding technology, presence of weld joint rolling, and heat-hardening conditions. It was revealed that longitudinal and ring welds of cylindrical containers should be accomplished by different technologies. (Author)
