Use of Closed Hypersurfaces in the Problem of Pattern Recognition,

Abstract

In some problems of pattern recognition it is possible to make certain assumptions about the symmetry and single-modality of statistical laws for the distribution of signal forms in the space of indications. n these cases it seems expedient to use close hypersurfaces for plotting the determining function. Such a determining function can also be used for plotting the reaction function of a metric recognition automaton. (Author)
