Study of Finite Plastic Deformation in Cold Form Rolling of Splines on Shafts,

Abstract

The article presents data from an experimental investigation of the stress-deformed state of shafts as the result of cold form rolling of splines on them. A splined shaft is a part with a complex configuration in which the plastic deformation in the final state of forming is nonuniformly distributed through the cross section. (Author)
